British born Laura Lee was destined to deliver jewels in the form of silver, gold and precious gems, from the moment she discovered the word design.
Travelling the globe with her nomadic family, spanning Asia, Europe and Australia, there was no question where her passion for trinkets, beads and baubles would lead her.
Back in London, Laura’s desire to bring a new essence to the glorification of jewellery found her diving into her exotic heritage for her first collection. Launched to high acclaim in 1985 at London and Paris Fashion Week her creations sold to some of the world’s finest stores and boutiques, including Liberty, Harrods, Le Bon Marche and Barneys New York.
In 2004 Laura Lee used her flair for stamping a seal upon the jewellery world by opening her first boutique in the heart of London’s West End. With a celebrity clientele including Anna Friel, Keira Knightley, Leona Lewis, Ewan McGregor and Dame Judi Dench, Laura’s aim to bedeck a variety of London’s most stylish and discerning guys and girls about town, has been proudly confirmed and achieved.
Laura Lee Jewellery has gone from strength to strength, and in 2010 will be celebrating 25 years in business. Still showing on both sides of the Channel and selling worldwide, her talent for collectible jewellery applied in an eclectic and highly desirable way is keeping her designs rocking and rolling into the future.
