Bruuns Bazaar was launched in 1994 by two brothers, Teis and Bjørn Bruun, and quickly became one of the pioneers within the Scandinavian fashion scene.
Bruuns Bazaar was the first brand to present an identifiably Scandinavian yet international look; one that provoked a great deal of interest and recognition around the world.
In January 1999, the brand entered the official show calendar in Paris, as the first Danish fashion house.
Today, Bruuns Bazaar is a modern and rising brand, creating mens- and womenswear, accessories and eyewear. Bruuns Bazaarʼs signature style is all about relaxed elegance. The look is vibrant and charismatic, and the individual expression is understated yet distinct. The blend of classic styles and modern pieces has created a group of loyal devotees, both throughout Europe and in other parts of the world.
The company represents both the existing Bruuns Bazaar brand and the younger BZR line. BZR is Bruuns Bazaar’s successful diffusion line, launched in 1999. Since its inception, BZR has grown into an independent label and, since 2008, BZR has manifested its independence by presenting collections at its own fashion shows during Copenhagen Fashion Week.
